I found this on the internet today.  Cal totally gets it!  You need to tell your elected officials to stop spending money they do not have.  The answer is not more taxes it is lower, much lower, spending.

This is an open letter to all of those proposing various new ways for the government to raise new revenue. Either you have lost your minds or your not paying attention to what is going on!!

Our government does NOT have a revenue problem. They have a massive out of control spending problem! This out of control spending pertains to both Republicans and Democrats. It has been going on for decades. Now they want to increase the debt limit nearly an additional 2 Trillion dollars!! It has got to stop!!

Out of control spending wont work at your house and it won’t work in Washington DC either. Even if you doubled their revenue they would find ways to spend it or distribute it to others.

Some say lets tax the wealthy or lets tax alcohol or tobacco. Now they are suggesting taxing soda pop, next it will be meat. Where does it all end?? We are only as free as our most oppressed countryman! Bonds are not the answer either. Bonds are additional debt for the government.

They are out of control and must be reigned in!! Our future is at stake!!
